Philosophy: I believe that the satisfaction and problems we experience arise in the context of our important relationships, particularly our partners and families. Working together in these important relationships is they key to the best outcomes. My work is helping you with the important people in your life achieve an improved quality of life. I am an applied developmental psychologist which means that rather than being diagnostic, I understand problems in light of one’s development; the family’s development; the stage of life individuals and families are in; and how to address these problems in their present context, I recognize that these problems are emotionally driven by resistant habitual patterns and believe that improving emotional openness and flexibility leads to sustaining long term change. If we do this in the context of our important relationships, I believe the outcome is better and lasts longer.
