Philosophy: My philosophy is that all people have the potential for personal growth. My role as a psychotherapist is to guide clients in that process. My approach incorporates a variety of theoretical approaches including psychodynamic, interpersonal, gestalt and CBT. Treatment plans are individualized and tailored to meet the needs of the individual, couple or family.
In my work with couples, I have recognized that people are drawn to others that have complimentary qualities. I work to help couples enhance communication skills and recognize barriers to fulfillment. This is accomplished through an exploration of underlying factors that either encourage or inhibit personal growth.

|
Practice: My practice is designed to assist individuals, couples and families in developing and achieving their goals. I provide an atmosphere of confidentiality to facilitate an exploration of personal strengths and determine how they can be utilized to conquer current obstacles.
The most important aspect of the therapeutic relationship is trust. Trust is a process that occurs gradually and takes effort from both parties. It is with great enthusiasm that I embark on this journey with clients. The outcome is enhanced coping skills and greater confidence to meet challenges and manage daily stressors.
