Philosophy: In the Internal Family Systems model, all humans are understood as having a variety of parts. Sometimes, these parts have conflicting agendas or roles. For example, one part may desire to eat ice cream, and another part may desire not to eat ice cream. I do my best to create a safe place for clients to listen to all his or her parts, and safely express the feelings and thoughts of each part. |
|
Practice: I use Internal Family Systems Therapy which is a collaborative, non pathologizing model that views each person as having the wisdom and knowledge necessary to heal themselves once they are given the tools to do so. I work with individuals, couples and families. |
