Additional information: The Weldon Center - Psychotherapy Press release from Main Line Life Newspapers and Main Line Medical Guide - "Top Doctors" '07, '08, '09.
Matthew Gelber opened the Weldon Center for Psychotherapy at Chester County Commons in Malvern in 2005. The Weldon Center is so named as a tribute to his mother who has survived ovarian, uterine, colon and skin cancer. "She is an inspiration to us all" , says Matt, "In fact, I'm so fortunate to be surrounded by incredible women, my wife, a local Obstetrician/Gynecologist, my mother-in-law, a pediatric nurse, and my mother, a former educator who is on staff at a Florida museum. I also must say that my father’s business sense was a great help to me as well", says Matt.
Matthew states, "I believe that choosing a therapist and getting started in itself can be overwhelming. I am an experienced and compassionate therapist who has helped individuals and families achieve success in different areas of their lives. My treatment begins in a relaxed setting within the context of a comfortable, confidential and open relationship. I believe that people have the potential within themselves to make positive changes. The Weldon Center is a beautiful office suite in The Chester County Commons Professional Complex in Malvern. I wanted to offer the client a very safe, stress-free environment and I feel I have achieved that at my office. The office is in a great location just off Routes 202 and 30, centrally located to Paoli, Great Valley and Exton, Downingtown, West Chester, Chester Springs, all Main Line areas and is in the center of Chester County".
The Weldon Center's atmosphere is conducive to a welcoming, safe and a stress free experience in a beautiful setting. Upon your arrival, you are able to have a cup of coffee, expresso, soda or a bottle of water and relax in our private lobby. Matthew states, " I pride myself on the relaxed feeling clients have in the Weldon Center, its a great setting to have therapy - away from the stresses in our busy lives." |
