Go to bed early enough at night that you can get a full night of sleep, usually at least 8 hours for most people. Listen to relaxing music or do light reading to help you fall asleep. Take time to do your worrying in the day time.
In the morning, get up early enough so that you are not rushed. Have an agenda laid out for your day and be clear about what you need to accomplish, even if it's simply to take the day off and relax. Schedule in a few extra minutes to either read an inspiring quote, meditate, pray, read the newspaper or watch a few minutes of the news. Do whatever you need to do to calm your mind and prepare yourself to face the day.
Then go on with your day and your agenda with a good attitude. |
