Philosophy: Lara believes strongly in the connection between mind, body, and spirit. In order to promote a holistic healing experience she uses a variety of theories and techniques to guide her work. Along with traditional forms of talk therapy, she utilizes creative healing techniques including: guided imagery, journaling, mindful breathing and meditation, and story telling to assist clients in finding healing and well being in their lives.

Lara Krawchuk is a Licensed Social Worker and Master of Public Health. She received her MSW from the University of Pennsylvania and her MPH form the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has over 16 years of social work experience with individuals, couples, families and organizations. She has worked extensively in hospitals, hospice, cancer wellness, university, and private practice settings. She has taught at several universities and is currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice. She lectures nationally on issues of caregiving, compassion fatigue, creative healing, end of life, grief and loss, guided imagery and impact of illness on the family.
Lara believes in helping individuals, couples, families and organizations re-discover and shape the stories of their lives by safely exploring strengths, hurts, challenges, and opportunities woven throughout. She enjoys helping clients explore issues surrounding:
